Capital Self Storage Gives Back To Canberra And Queanbeyan
Capital Self Storage is the largest Self Storage operator in the Queanbeyan and ACT region. To celebrate Capital’s 25th birthday, 100,000 Capital Self Storage $50 cheques are being distributed to ACT and Queanbeyan households.
With over 40,000 satisfied customers, the Directors of Capital Self Storage decided to have a big birthday splash and to say thank you to the many thousands who have used Capital Self Storage spaces, a no-nonsense $50 discount will be in your letter box. The give away is valued at $5 million dollars.
The cheque is redeemable at any one of Capitals four Self Storage locations, in Hume, Philip, Mitchell and Queanbeyan. The cheque can be applied to any other deal that is available.
Ian Oliver, Managing Director of Capital Self Storage said. “We want to thank the ACT and Queanbeyan community in supporting Capital Self Storage for the last 25 years. We started out with 40 spaces on a horse paddock in 1988 in Queanbeyan and we have grown to be the largest operator of Self Storage in the region.
We are very proud of our success and importantly we have pioneered many customer related concepts, including online reservations, online payments and online move ins.
We were the first in the industry to offer these services anywhere. The ACT and Queanbeyan Storers are sophisticated and have appreciated the services, saving them time and money. Our free truck hire service for new customers was also pioneered locally.
Over the years, we have stored some pretty weird things. We stored the world’s largest pushbike at our old Woden branch, we stored dinosaurs for a museum and we even stored an entire unit full of house bricks and newspapers!”
Developments like the Kingston foreshore prove that we are downsizing in our living arrangements and Self Storage is needed more than ever before. Capital Self Storage is developing new storage products to suit the changing needs of the ACT and Queanbeyan communities and these changes can be seen at our Mitchell and Queanbeyan stores.
Oliver said. “Each of our stores are in the process of being renovated and we have significantly upgraded our CCTV surveillance systems to the latest specs.” Security is important to us as it should be for Storers.”
Capital Self Storage were also one of the ten original members of the Self Storage Association, assisting in the development of the industry and its Directors have held board positions and are active in the industry.
“Canberra is a place of change; Governments come and go, as do many thousands of people. It’s these times that Self Storage is needed and Capital have been able to provide not only Storage, but box and cartons and removalist services.”
Capital Self Storage is a local employer and employs professionals and provides ongoing personal development training for its staff.
